I was contacted by
Tea Time magazine early spring of 2014.

They needed hats to compliment
an article they were writing for the May issue. The article was to
focus on a Kentucky Derby tea party. I sent them six hats and they
chose 3 for their article. One of the hats was worn by Lorna Reeves,
editor.
The hats were designed to compliment the
tea service used in the article. The colors are light and dark blue,
silver, gray and white. The tea set also incorporated peacock feathers
in the design so a couple of my hats also incorporated actual peacock
feathers and delicate peacock brooches.
